Despite improvements in pain after surgery, opioid use after surgery is still high. To better understand the short- and long-term use of opioids before and after bariatric surgery, Wendy C. King, PhD, epidemiologist at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health, and colleagues conducted a study. In this podcast, Dr. King discusses the results of the study.
